Finally! An Abortion the Feminists Don't Like!

Wow, who knew that it would take a pro-abort to get the feminists to feel uncomfortable about an abortion?

I (and a lot of other people) heard about the Yale student whom I'm not bothering to name who supposedly gave herself several miscarriages throughout a nine month period of time and used the "blobs of tissue" as art supplies for some art exhibit. The Yale newspaper printed a story on it, and it caught fire in the blogosphere. The whole thing ended up being fake. At first I dismissed the entire incident due to the fact that journalists are notorious for being retarded, however, it was Yale, so it was a plausible story.

One blog that was rather quiet on the issue was Feministe, the blog everyone goes to for tips on how to give yourself an abortion in anticipation of teh evil George Bush taking away their precious right. Jill, prominent blogger on Feministe, said she had no words (as in, she was shocked), which is really a blessed change for her. Many of her commenters on the issue were taken aback, and also skeptical of the project's validity. One commenter expressed concern, saying, "Did having miscarriages for a year not have an impact on her academics?" Now, I wasn't alive before Roe, but I don't believe bad academics were one of the chief concerns of the abortion-lobby when they claimed women everywhere were giving themselves abortions in back-alleys.

Several of the commenters expressed discomfort with what the girl was doing to her body, physically, before it came out that the whole thing was a sham. This is a new concept for the pro-aborts: not liking an abortion. But did anyone notice the irony?

Had this actually happened, it would have been very early term babies being used as art supplies, which generally the feminists call blobs of tissue and treat such abortions akin to seeing a horse canter around a field. These are the people who threaten to cheese-grate themselves in back-alley abortions if we get rid of partial-birth abortions, and yet this "arteest" managed to make them feel uncomfortable about 4 week-old unborn babies dying!

So while the feminists defended partial-birth abortion tooth-and-nail, they felt uncomfortable with this dame practicing her Roe-given right to expel "simple tissue, don't worry, that will be $300 please" from her body. I am glad it was a sham, and that it took a pro-choicer to make the others finally feel awkward about the deaths of early-term abortions. Maybe now they'll at least consider the later term abortions.

Found it!

So the question I've been having... how does one inseminate oneself? Is that even possible?

And my BS meter is off the hook here. She's full of it.

I agree. I've refrained from writing too much more about it, but Yale has since refused to display the project unless she admits it's all a "performance" and says that no actual human blood/beings were used.

I love how this liberal girl thinks that her "art" is so important. Liberalism is fun!
